Dear Friends and Partners,

As our partners, you know that our mission is to build churches for congregations that do not have the means to build their own sanctuaries.  Over the last six years, we have been so blessed to build approximately seventy churches and Pastor’s homes with your help and prayers.  Along with building churches we also have a deep conviction to help the poor and needy. On every trip we have made it a priority to bring humanitarian help such as medicine, food and clothing. As of today, we have ministered in Mexico, Cuba, Belize, Serbia, Kosovo and Peru.  Now I have a wonderful opportunity to take our team to Guatemala and then on to two countries new to us, Nicaragua and Honduras.

Our scheduled trip to build a church in the Amazon Jungle of Peru has been postponed due to a high level of mosquitoes carrying malaria, yellow fever, and dengue fever. The Adams family, our missionary partners in Iquitos, informed us that the Peruvian government has shut down this section of the Amazon River to passenger boats which does not allow us to reach our church building sight. Though we cannot go ourselves, we have sent $4700 for the pastor’s home, church construction costs and food for several weeks for the village workers and families.  Please pray for our Peruvian native partners for their safety, as they will have to continue the construction of this church on their own. We will return to Peru as soon as possible to build another church.

Meanwhile our Missions International team will be joining Ivan Tait and his construction team to work in Guatemala building a new orphanage. Ivan, a new missionary evangelist partner, is doing a wonderful work for God in this region. This orphanage, located outside the Guatemala City area, has a desperate need for a larger facility. Currently 56 orphans are living in a small five-bedroom house. We will be building a 24,000 square foot facility for them with the capacity of housing 500 orphans.
We are excited that our team can make such a big difference in this area. But many more still need our help. The needs of these little ones are tremendous.   Thousands of them exist on the streets with no home and little food. Even very small children must beg or steal food to survive. Children as young as 9 or 10 years of age are caring for their 1 and 2 year old brothers and sisters. Many children die daily on the streets.

In Nicaragua where I will be going, children live in garbage dumps surviving only on the garbage they find. The need is staggering.  I am doing what I can to make a difference in the lives of these children. Many children will die without our help! Please help us help these children. We must take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them as well as meeting their immediate needs for food, clothing, medical treatment, and housing. We absolutely cannot do this without your help.

Please pray earnestly about how you can help these children through your financial love gift.  Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Satan is trying to forbid these children from coming to Jesus through extreme poverty…let us not be blinded to their needs. We must bring these children to Jesus through His love by significant acts of kindness

We love you and appreciate you deeply. Those of you who know me personally know that I have always been a team player.  You are my team. We really are in this together. I know that God will richly reward you for your prayers and gifts. Prov. 19:17 “One who is gracious to the poor lends to the Lord. He will repay Him for his good deed.”

In His love,

Bob Mason
