D Dear Friends and Partners,

Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Bob is in Guatemala working on an orphanage and sends his love and appreciation for your prayers and financial gifts. The importance of prayer has been strong on my heart and I would like to fully share this with you. Bob and I count it a great honor to represent you in the field and to enable churches and friends like you to go to the mission field. For those of you who cannot go, we serve as your hands extended. You can now be our hands extended through prayer. Those of you who know me well, know that I love to get things done. That is why I love to pray and why prayer is so dear to my heart.

Praying is getting things done in the spirit realm! Some situations we cannot ‘fix’ by our own ability but can be changed by our prayers. We can always pray to our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ and come boldly to the throne of grace for help in time of need. With this in mind, I will be bold in my request. I would like to ask you to consider praying for us and Missions International fifteen minutes a week. This might not seem like very much time to you but if we corporately pray together, our efforts will be multiplied. Please e-mail me directly at Dmason428@aol.com to inform us of your commitment to pray for us. Once I hear from you, I will provide a detailed list of our special requests. I would like this request to go a step further. When you send me your e-mail, please include your special prayer request and in return we will pray for you!!!

My goal is to see a great prayer group raised up to pray for missions. Our world today is so uncertain; it is vital that we come together and pray like we have never prayed before. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. I hope to hear from you soon. Also you may check out the latest news on our web site at www.missionsinternational.org.

Bob is working in Guatemala with missionary evangelist Ivan Tait, building a new orphanage to accommodate 500 children.  58 are currently living in a small house and desperately need a new larger facility. Bob will be accompanied by a church group from New Jersey…. and is very excited about the new possibilities of ministry in this country.

Recently, Bob was able to spend time with missionary statesmen Dr. Syvelle Phillips, President of Evangel Bible Translators. He shared with Bob about an unreached tribe in northern India. This tribe has never had the gospel translated in their language. There are 30 million people in this area without any Gospel witness. There are no known Christians within this people group and they are without even one printed scripture in their native language. The technology now exists to create the first translation of the Bible for these people. With a cost of only  $500 a month we can facilitate the translator and the translation process. Bob has felt very strongly that Missions International should take on this challenge and provide the necessary funds to make this happen. My father, Dan Marocco, was a missionary to Calcutta, India. During his time there he founded two churches that are still going strong today. A Bible school was established from these churches. One of the graduates from this Bible School is the very man that is taking the Gospel to this region of India. Since I was born in this country, I personally would love to see our ministry enable these native translators to bring the Word of God to this unreached tribe.

Would you prayerfully consider helping us with this new venture? Also, please pray for Bob and the team’s safety as they travel to Guatemala. In our next month’s newsletter, we will be sharing our plans for our upcoming banquet to celebrate 2003’s accomplishments with you! Finally, would you consider being my prayer partner? Please don’t hesitate to e-mail me and let me know you are standing with us in prayer.

As always, thank you for your generous support as
we continue to reach the unreached.

Sincerely,

Debbie Mason
